    Overview

    We are looking for an exceptional Senior Manager/ Director Business Development for developing and executing joint product and program strategies with Public Cloud partners.  In this role you will establish and grow business and technical relationships across public cloud partners. The initial focus of this role will be on AWS and the AWS partner ecosystem to drive top line Veeam revenue growth and market adoption. This is a high growth, high visibility role in what is one of the most strategic areas for Veeam.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop the relationship and alignment with key identified partners in the Public Cloud space, starting with AWS as the primary focus in phase 1
    • Manage the 360 relationship with these partners including interlock with their senior leadership, stakeholder mapping, create a formal governance model and drive a cadence of ongoing checkpoints
    • Develop an integrations roadmap with the partner. This process would include internal stakeholder management and alignment including with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Channels, Sales
    • Identify new routes of revenue for the partner as well as for Veeam and define the channel and GTM planning
    • Be the voice of Veaam and evangelize Veeam to the key stakeholders in the partner organization
    • Provide thought leadership on strategies, tactics and initiatives that accelerate Veeam’s ability to deliver market-leading cloud solutions

     

    Qualifications

    • Have a good understanding of the Public Cloud space, and a knowledge of infrastructure as a service, PaaS business models
    • Experience working with AWS, Microsoft, Google, IBM and/or Alibaba is highly desired with a track record of having defined joint solutions and joint go to market strategies
    • Comfortable with driving executive interlock and update meetings with management teams on both sides
    • Ability to build Strategic Alliance Partnerships
    • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly
    • Ability to work independently with limited direction; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
    • Ability to travel
    • MBA Preferred
